ONE TO THE OTHER

It is Saturday evening and Jess and I are going out. We heard Ellen Alien was playing at Studio B, so we thought this should be the place to be. Dressed up and in a good mood we got on line, but in the middle of it. Nobody complained except from a small group of Germans, Typisch! In just a few minutes we had many new friends on line from all over the world, many inviting us to after hours, house parties, and giving us their numbers. After 90 minutes and nothing really changing we got inpatient. We went to the door and tried to talk with them, naive as we were coming fresh from Germany, we thought that two cute and dressed up girls couldn't be refused. It turned we were mistaken, the doormen got really angry at us and told us to leave. Puzzled, we decided to find another place for a few hours of fun. Walking around, we heard a house party and saw there was something going on in one of the apartments that we walked by. This sounded like fun! So we went to the entrance of the house and waited for a guest to come or leave. Very soon there was a guy leaving and he told us to just go upstairs. So we did, we knocked on the loudest door and a tall Japanese guy opened up the door. We told him that we walked by and heard the music and wanted to join. He welcomed us and invited us in. He told the host that we were his friends and would like to join.
From then on there wasn't a minute without a conversation and a drink in our hands. We met a lot of Asian Designers and after two hours we decided to try Studio B once more. The Japanese tall guy gave us his business card, he turned out to be an American with Japanese and German origins, even with a German name! Walking to Studio B, apparently we were already quite drunk. A guy stopped us and told us to be more self-controlled, because there were cops near by and they would arrest drunk people in public. Surprised and kind of shocked we tried to walk straight and to be quiet. It was not so easy, but we managed to arrive at the club. It was 3am now.
